Just after finishing his coaching being a sitar artist during the mid-1940s, Shankar joined the Indian Folks’s Theatre Association, a still left-wing theatrical Group that promoted beliefs of social and financial equality. He composed tunes with the team’s productions and recomposed the favored patriotic track “Saare Jahan Se Accha”; his Mo
